I. Warranty Policy
a. Applicable*:
18K Jewelry products (Up to 6 months validity)
24K Jewelry products (Up to 3 months validity)
Premier jewelry product line (Up to 12 months validity)
*Please note: The Warranty does not apply for 24K necklets, 24K bangles, and framed gold craft art products
b. After-sale services offered:
Complimentary polishing and ultrasonic cleaning
Complimentary stones remounting (This service is unapplicable for Premier Jewelry product line)
Complimentary ring sizing
Complimentary technical repairs
c. Terms and conditions:
Warrantied products must be accompanied with legit invoices
Warrantied products must be in their original designs (with no alteration or upgrade from its original design) , unbroken and undeformed shapes.
Products are still valid under warranty policy
d. The warranty policy will not cover the following cases:
Products are broken or deformed due to misusage
Products have been altered or upgraded from their original designs.
II. Exchange policy
a. For 18K and 24K Jewelry products
Exchaging for the same gold content products: the weight difference will be calculated using the gold price at the time of transaction and charged in addition to the craftmanship fee of the new product.
Exchanging for lower gold content products: customers will be refunded the difference of gold content. The refunded amount with be deducted from the new craftmanship fee to-be-paid by the customers.
Exchanging for higher gold content products: customers will be charged the difference of gold content. This additional charge with be added to the new craftmanship fee to-be-paid by the customers.
Craftmanship fee is nonrefundable for all products
Please note: The exchange policy is not applicable for Framed Gold Craft Art products
b. For Premier Jewelry Products:
We purchase back 80% of product value in exchange for a new product under the following conditions: the product must be likenew, shows no sign of usage (such as scratches, dints or dents ect.; though blemishes are acceptable) nor being broken or deformed due to misusage.
III. Buy-in Policy
a. For 18K and 24K Jewelry Products:
With invoices: The product must undergo a required procedure before determining the price: drying – taking the actual weight – deducting stone weight. The buy-in price will be determined basing on the actual weight after deducting stone weight and the bid price at the time of transaction.
Without invoices or MiHong stamps on the products: the product must undergo an appraisal procedure before determining the price: taking the actual weight – testing gold content on a touchstone – retesting the gold content with a specialized computer software deducting stone weight. The buy-in price will be determined basing on the actual gold content, the actual weight after deducting stone weight and the bid price at the time of transaction.
Please note: The buy-in policy will not be applicable for framed gold craft art produtcts, stone beads and stone bangles.
b. For Premier Jewelry Products:
We purchase back 70% of the product value (applicable for products purchased within one year)
For products that have been broken, deformed or altered, we will adopt the same procedure with 18K & 24K Jewelry products and use the bid price of 75% gold content at the time of transaction to determine the buyin price.
For products that have been purchased more than one year, we will adopt the same procedure with 18K & 24K Jewelry products and use the bid price of 75% gold content at the time of transaction to determine the buyin price.
IV. MiHong Fine Gold Rings and SJC Gold Bullion Bars
a. For MiHong Fine Gold Rings
Exchange: If the weight is not lessened due to usage, we will exchange with no additional charge. If the weight is lessened, customers will be charged for the weight difference.
Buy-in: If the weight is not lessened due to usage, normal transaction procedure will be applied. If the weight is lessened, we will determine the price basing on the actual weight.
b. SJC Gold Bullion Bars:
Exchange: SJC Gold Bullion Bars cannot be exchanged.
Buy-in: the SJC Gold Bullion Bars packaging must remain 100% new, shows no tears or dents.
Additional fees* will be applied for the following cases:
- Defected products that do not pass the SJC determined standard, such as: dented, deformed, unpackaged, one number serial bars. A fee of 140.000vnd/tael will be applied.
- For aged, torn packaging will be applied a repackaging fee of 20.000vnd/bar (for 5chee and 10chee bars), and 5.000vnd/bar (for 1chee and 2 chee bars).
*The charged fees are determined by the SJC Company. The fees are subject to be changed at any time.
ATTENTION:
- Please keep all the invoices for the convenience of your future transaction.
- In case your invoices are lost, our staff will check for our corporate stamp and inspect the products, and apply the buy-in procedure to determine the prices.
- In case the products have suffered from deformations, alterations and upgrades, or there are any signs that raise suspicions for counterfeit products, we reserve the right to refuse the transaction.
